Yesterday, April 27, the municipal administration of Bagnoli Irpino announced that it will be the company "Doppelmayr Italia S.R.L." to build the new ski lifts of the Laceno Monte Rajamagra ski area.

There will be seven new ski lifts in the small ski resort in the province of Avellino: the "Settevalli" four-seater chairlift (replaces the previous two-seater), the "Rajamagra" four-seater chairlift (replaces the previous two-seater), the "Serroncelli" ski lift (replaces the previous ski lift abandoned since 2000), the "Cuccioli" ski lift (replaces the previous ski lift demolished in 2006), the "Serroncelli" carpet (replaces the previous ropeway on the same track) and the "School field" carpet (replaces the previous carpet on the same track traced). The improvement proposals and details of the offer will be announced in the next few days.
This is the first step of a project that aims at the rebirth of the ski resort.
The second step, which involves a cost of about 10 million euros, will consist in the expansion of the skiable domain with the construction of the "Nordica" two-seater chairlift, the "Lupi" ski lift and three new black slopes: the "Franco Giannoni" slope. , the “Sacristano” track and the “Cinghiali” track. Among the other planned interventions are the refurbishment of the 3 shelters at an altitude of 1100, 1400 and 1700m above sea level, the adaptation of some sections of the existing track and the commissioning of the snow-making system with the creation of the necessary works.
