With the publication of the new Italian skiing technical manual in 2018, the previous bronze, silver and gold classification was replaced by a progression divided into seven levels. It starts with level 1, for those putting on skis for the first time, continues through intermediate levels 4 and 5, and reaches level 7, the highest expression of Italian ski technique across different turn shapes and radii. In collaboration with Jam Session, we present seven videos explaining the objectives, knowledge, skills and technical model of each level, helping skiers identify their ability and improve on the slopes.
