On April 20, the conference was held for the presentation of the Project "Integrated system of the Sarnano-Monti Sibillini", which provides for the relaunch of tourism and the enhancement of the Sarnano area at a cost of 36 million euros.
The intervention plan consists of the construction of a runway for donut-shaped inflatable boats (summer-winter), an astronomical observatory, an artificial ski slope in neveplast, an Alpine Coaster course, an Adventure Park, a Safari Adventure, a cableway / flight of 'angelo, cycle-pedestrian and hiking trails, a climbing wall, a camping site, a park with inflatable games for children.
The construction of a new ski lift is also planned, in the upgrading and renovation of the FonteLardina chairlift, the enhancement of the artificial snow-making system throughout the ski area, the renovation and upgrading of the Snow Park, the construction of a slope for snow tubing. , construction of two covered treadmills, installation of new protection for the safety of the rinks, upgrading of the lighting of the rinks and the construction of an ice skating rink.
The expenditure for the interventions will be divided between the public sector (29 million euros disbursed by the Ministry through the PNRR Sismi 2009 2016 Complementary Fund) and the private sector (7 million euros from Sassotetto Srl)
The conference was attended by the mayor of Sarnano Luca Piergentili, the President of the Marche Region Francesco Acquaroli, the Regional Councilor Guido Castelli, Professor Gianluca Gregori, the designer Alessandro Agrati, the architect and President of Sassotetto s.r.l. Andrea Silipo and the design engineer Giustino di Emidio.
