The patented machine from NeveXN is able to produce a at a temperature between 0 ° C Quality snow and 15 ° C through the use of thermal energy that can be supplied from renewable sources such as solar panels and biomass boiler. Fully automated, thanks to a remote centralized control system, this technology can be integrated into existing snowmaking systems. The technological innovation then combines the one hand the increasingly frequent need to obtain technical snow in unconventional climatic conditions, guaranteeing optimum snow even at low altitude, and the other to contain the consumption of water and electricity of their traditional snowmaking systems.
The snow thus produced can be used for outdoor snow (ski resorts, sporting events, town events) and indoor, but can also find useful and interesting applications such as refrigerator fluid in the cold chain for the food industry, in health care and in the construction industry.
The industrial development plan which NeveXN, Leitner and DemacLenko will work in the coming months plans to industrialize, manufacture and market three "sizes" of machines with capacities respectively equal to 1, 4 and 8 cubic meters of snow per hour.
Formed in 2012 by three founding partners, Francesco Besana, Fabiano Maturi and Anna Vanzo under the hat, the startup NeveXN was awarded in 2013 an EU funding and reserved for the most innovative business initiatives. In 2015 the project was awarded with the certificate "Seal of Excellence" that certifies the design validity. The agreement signed in these days involve collaboration with leading companies to set up an industrial development project.
