From Wednesday 24 November to 7 December, stricter rules against the spread of the pandemic come into force for 20 South Tyrolean municipalities. The new Ordinance signed tonight by the President of the Province, Arno Kompatscher, was drafted by the heads of the Provincial Health Authority in harmony with the Ministry of Health, in order to avoid further worsening of the situation in light of the dynamic development of the pandemic. The final purpose of the provision is to contain the infections in order to avoid consequences on the upcoming winter tourist season.
Rules valid for the entire province of Bolzano In addition to the prevention rules already in force, such as spacing, use of masks and hygiene rules, the obligation to wear a mask is immediately extended to the entire provincial territory. In essence, this means that the mask must be worn in all closed environments, with the exception of your own home. Respiratory protection must also be worn outdoors if it is not always possible to maintain a distance of one meter from other people. The mask obligation applies to all gatherings of people, and therefore in city centers and towns, squares, markets and waiting queues. On public transport, passengers must wear an FFP2 mask or equivalent. The dances that take place in discos, dance clubs and similar structures, both outdoors and indoors, are once again suspended The Provincial Labor Inspectorate is strengthening controls with the law enforcement agencies to ensure compliance with safety measures provided for work activities.

Sports and physical activity are not allowed between 8.00 pm and 5.00 am All events (including cultural, leisure, sporting or trade fair) in closed private or public spaces are suspended. Rehearsals and performances by choirs and bands are also suspended, as well as theatrical performances, film screenings, conferences and similar meetings in presence.Public events can take place outdoors in delimited areas in compliance with the previous safety measures. presentation of the green pass (cured, vaccinated, tested). Other outdoor sports competitions are only permitted for individual sports and not for contact sports: no audience may be present at any of the permitted sporting events, competitions and training sessions FFP2 masks or equivalent must be worn in all rooms closed (except in one's own home).
