Prowinter, here are the finalists of the Startup Village competition

Alpin, Bobsla, Snowbike, Climbstation, Snowfeet, Snowfoot, SnowVision and Soggle are the eight finalists of the Startup Village 2019 competition organized by Prowinter, the winter sports business fair to be held in Bolzano from 9 to 11 April in Bolzano .

The winner will win the award for best technology for the future of the mountain. Let's find out better who the eight finalists identified by the staff of Fiera di Bolzano and by WhatAVenture are. Alpin It is a Swiss company that designs products and experiences for rental shops and resorts that want to offer accessible, fun, innovative and unique activities to their users and guests. Among these proposals we find U-sled, the sled that does not need snow to bring the adrenaline of a full speed descent to life, and M-Bmx, the bike with a specific geometry that includes a large front wheel and oversized brakes for ensuring an unforgettable riding experience. Bobsia Austrian company that produces invents and produces new and unique electric vehicles for snow, a new medium for entertainment on the track. The Bobsla snowmobile, similar to a go-kart, is ideal for adults and children who can have fun in the snow thanks to rapid acceleration and precise steering. With Bobsla it is possible to organize exciting winter competitions. Snowbike Snowbike was born with the aim of giving everyone the opportunity to have fun on a ski slope even for people with motor disabilities: everyone can get on a Snowbike and have fun in complete safety. Passion, fun and technique in one intuitive and easy to drive way. Climbstation ClimbStation, the result of an Italian project, is an innovative automatic climbing structure, equipped with numerous programs, from the easy ones ideal for children and beginners, to the gradual ones for sportsmen and climbers during training. ClimbStation is easy to use, intuitive and able to excite a large user base, satisfying the expectations of the merely curious and the most demanding enthusiasts. With Climbstation it really climbs, indoors or outdoors, without harnesses and without ropes but in absolute safety a few centimeters from the ground, as it is the structure that moves under the climber's hands and feet thanks to different sensors and to the pre-set program, guaranteeing the same sensations that high artificial and natural walls can offer. Snowfeet Snowfeets are very short skis, a little longer than winter boots. Alpine skiing with Snowfeet is a combination of skiing and skating. It is essentially a new winter sport that could also be called snowskates. It can be used both on and off the track. Snowfoot Snowfoot is a revolutionary new product that brings snowshoes in a vertical direction. The first snowshoe designed specifically for alpine terrain, Snowfoot is compact, light and ergonomic. Made in Italy with patented technology and quality materials, Snowfoot is built to complement the most demanding mountaineering and mountaineering objectives. SnowVision It is a Belgian company that produces customized snow masks even after a medical prescription. SnowVision integrates inside the mask two optical lenses that guarantee maximum visibility for every user who needs to wear eyeglasses even on the snow. The technology applied to the lens makes it possible to effectively combat the problem of fogging while the focusing point always remains in the correct position since the internal lenses remain fixed to the mask. Finally, the external lens of the snow mask is coated with photochromatic material, which adapts to sunny or cloudy weather conditions. Soggie We often find ourselves with the scratched ski mask. Very few skiers want to always properly cover the ski mask and put it in place with care. This Soggle problem solves it in a very simple way - and in addition offers a considerable added value. In addition to the protection itself of the ski mask, Soggle, produced in microfibre, also acts as a cleaning cloth for the mask.
