Resume the project When snow starts school

Italy looks to the future and is doing it by investing in young people. The FISI strongly wanted the new edition of the project "When Snow Is School" sponsored by the Ministry of Sport and the Miur.

The aim is to bring first-grade secondary school students from all over the country to the mountain. Presentation took place today in Milan with the participation of FISI President Flavio Roda, Minister of Sport and Education Luca Lotti and Valeria Fedeli and CONI President Giovanni Malagò. The latter has focused on the importance that the relationship between sport and school represents both for the national sports movement and for society. The project will be divided into three phases that will involve pupils and teachers. The boys will first be involved in a photo contest on issues set by the federation. The winning class will win a day in the mountains. There are also meetings with experts to teach the mountain to students, parents and teachers and explain how to live in this environment. The third step is instead exclusively addressed to the physical education teacher and is called "Ski-stage". A series of mountain outings with federal engineers will help teachers know and practice winter sports. One third of the project therefore aims to provide a solid preparation for mountain and winter sports to those working on a daily basis with students. Educating educators is a non-secondary theme for the formation of the boys themselves and the fact that the project invests so much about them is a never-ending fact.
