Winter Campus Week, the week's skiing in Sestriere dedicated to young people

From March 5 to 12 returns the tenth edition of Campus Winter Week, the event which gives young people the opportunity to spend an unforgettable skiing holiday in Sestriere, in Italy's largest ski area, the Milky Way: more than 400 km of ski slopes (7 green, 67 blue, 97 red and 41 black) served by 69 lifts.

Participants will receive a "full service" including transport (rail travel with Italo a / r, Shuttle from Turin to Sestriere A / R and sports equipment delivery), student accommodation, lift tickets, daily activities and access to many narrow agreements with the partner of the event. In short, a skiing holiday fully organized with high standards of quality and fun. It shall stay at Sestriere, 4-star Olympic Village, which offers excellent amenities such as spa, solarium, fitness center with gym and swimming pool. All participants will receive a Winter Weekend Campus bracelet that will be entitled to the discounts in shops or eateries such as shelters, technical snowboard shop, the Tabata disco and spa. Several packages are purchased directly on the site of Winter Campus Week depending on number of people. A one-bedroom apartments available for bookings three and promotions carried out by 31 December. Il paper di Banca d'Italia analizza gli effetti sui flussi turistici e sull'ambiente nei 4 anni successivi all'iscrizione delle Dolomiti nella lista dei Patrimoni Mondiali dell'Umanità, avvenuta nel 2009. A fronte di un incremento delle presenze, il numero di strutture turistiche non è cresciuto e quello di posti letto si è ridotto. Ai maggiori flussi turistici non si è associato né un aumento del consumo di suolo né una maggiore produzione di rifiuti, dimostrando il potenziale del riconoscimento UNESCO nel generare benefici economici locali senza compromettere la qualità ambientale, a condizione che siano in atto un efficace coordinamento istituzionale e solide garanzie normative.
