"The Ultimate Run": the most extreme feat conceived and created by freestyler Markus Eder. The incipit of the video is entrusted to the voice of the South Tyrolean champion who, when he thinks of skiing, reveals that he asks himself every now and then: “What If?”. From there begins one of the most extraordinary contents created by Markus.

On the incredible descent of "The Ultimate RRun" Markus finds himself on the Zermatt glacier in the presence of the legendary Matterhorn, and crosses the Klausberg ski resort, in his country of origin, after passing several blocks of ice. After a short freestyle session with friends, Eder returns to the fresh snow and crosses the medieval castle of Tures and the mining museum. The descent ends at sunset on the valley floor: six years of skiing enclosed in 10 minutes full of joy and adrenaline.
"The Ultimate Run" is one of the most creative and fascinating documentaries ever captured on film, a descent that combines skis, tricks and drops performed by one of the most skilled freestylers on the entire planet.
The documentary was made for over 2 years by "Legs of Steel", a production company based in Innsbruck, directed by former professional snowboarder Christoph Thorensen. "The Ultimate Run is the project that Markus has always dreamed of" - says Tobi Reindl, producer of "Legs of Steel" - "and it has also become one of the most challenging and exciting projects we have done to date". The final editing can make it seem almost a normal descent on the snow, but the Italian freeride knows very well the true meaning of this feat. "I had to push myself far beyond my limits this time" - says Markus Eder - "Every aspect of this adventure thrilled me from the beginning: surely being able to transform my hometown of Klausberg into my personal location for the short film was one extra stimulus. ”The Eder descent is thus preparing to become a milestone and a source of inspiration for all winter sports enthusiasts, especially for ski lovers who want to raise the bar.
