A wildcard brings Wadeck Gorak into the Freeride World Tour 2021 match

With last year's winner, Tanner Hall, sidelined due to injury, Wadeck Gorak is officially invited to participate in the Freeride World Tour competition with a Wildcard.

The French champion is well known for his victory at Xtreme Verbier 2019, which remained in everyone's mind thanks to a spectacular high-speed backflip on Bec des Rosses. The question everyone is asking is: can you repeat this performance at the 25th edition of Xtreme Verbier this year? Gorak later injured himself in a Kicking Horse Golden BC during FWT20, after a fall following a huge backflip that resulted in a partial tear of his internal tibial. After months of rehabilitation, the Frenchman is ready to challenge the best in the world and let us appreciate his madness in defining the lines. "I am happy to be able to participate once again in the Freeride World Tour and join this beautiful family. - said Wadeck - I have a goal: to go to Verbier and win Xtreme again! I already have a complete list of great ideas for the backflip for this season! " As health and safety are always the priority for FWT organizers, these days they are working in partnership with local authorities to ensure that each competition complies with current regulations. The start of the 2021 Freeride World Cup is now near!
