Large blocks of ice, the size of 3x3x3 meters, will be placed in the corners pi & ugrave; suggestive note resort & agrave; Val Canale & nbsp; and then be processed by the skilled hands of artists from Slovenia, Spain, & nbsp; India, Czech Republic, Chile and of course Italy. The sculptors will have to complete their work within 19 to Sunday, February 7 using tools like saws, blades, barbed wire & nbsp; and chisels.
Will touch & agrave; then tourists and inhabitants evaluate and decide the winner. The snow sculptures, can then be admired until, with the & rsquo; approach of spring, will not disband. & Nbsp;
"With satisfaction - says Mayor Ivan Buzzi - present this new event, meant to promote our tourist attractions such as the winter ice rink, cross-country trails and walking paths with cjaspe associating a big event such as the International Competition of sculptures snow".
L & rsquo; initiative, supported by the Friuli-Venezia Giulia and the City of Pontefract, & egrave; given by the Sporting Group Val Gleris with the involvement of all local associations.
