COLMAR changes skin

Colmar sheds its skin and it does so in a way that is more in keeping with simplicity and elegance, with a commitment and constant research, inspired by what the Japanese call Kai Zen (continuous improvement): a philosophy of life and work.

The product is even once a center of the four cornerstones on which the DNA of the company from 93 years now: the sport, the focus on design, innovation and a history of family. The structure of the collection of skis this winter is very easy to tell: is divided according to the type of use in alpine and freeride and outdoor; the color palette is synergistic, concentrated on basic tones, combined with brighter hues that make it easy to match the leaders among them: white, black, gray, yellow, red, blue for the part alpine, brighter colors like orange green for the part freeride and outdoor. Each piece has a name that draws liberally from the dna brand and it shows in every single detail; the heritage of the company leads to the most advanced research in terms of materials technology and product design. The family feeling is designed with graphics that starting from the past turns into two lines, a thicker and a thinner, crossing the jackets on the chest, sleeves or on caps; so do the curved cuts that, taken as a detail depending on the model, further characterize the leaders in a common touch recognizable at first glance. To pay tribute to the iconic places of skiing and off the track or in great champions of the past and present, it was decided to give each jacket a specific name that defines the type of use, technical features and design. The 3-Tre for example is the strong link between Colmar and Madonna di Campiglio: inspired by the history of the competition played in three colors and is characterized by a two-tone band that starting from the sleeve, through the latching chest sharply and asymmetrically as the legendary track slalom thirty. An icon garment for both men and women. And yet the Hokkaido is inspired northernmost island of the Japanese archipelago: created in order to give maximum performance and comfort in this paradise for freeriders looking for true "deep powder". "Innovation" is another key word of the collection. He finds himself not only in the tissues and technical features of the jackets (fold hood in order to contain the helmet fit, transparent inside pockets for immediate detection of objects, 3D mesh inserts, preformed sleeves, waterproof zip), but especially in new and exclusive technologies applied to the leaders thanks to partnerships with companies like Acerbis® for the protections, Teflon ™ for water repellent and Directa Plus for innovative technology of graphene applied to the fabric. DNA Colmar is reconfirmed in what might be called its new era where sport in particular is the translation of the attitude towards everything that is done: passion, respect, pushed forward of their own limits, to win with style.
