The idea is to insert the fall protection inside a t-shirt, thus obtaining a comfortable, performing garment with a level of protection certified according to the EN 1621-2-2014 standard. The product that makes all this possible is called Softshield and is proposed by Think Over s.r.l., an innovative Hi-Tech company based in Losa, in the province of Novara. After years in which this special membrane has gained significant success in the equestrian world, Softshield has begun to offer the product to some shops active in the ski sector with very positive feedback. The special unconstrained protective system incorporated in SoftShield is made of shock absorb material with an excellent impact absorption and a slow molecular memory protects, depending on the model, the most sensitive areas of impact: spine, rib, shoulders, elbows and chest. Softshield garments guarantee maximum adhesion of protection to the body, extreme flexibility and freedom of movement. The refined meshes in microholes ensure maximum breathability and quick drying. The garments have an excellent durability and can be washed without problems in normal washing machines.
