At the base of the Mindbender collection is the philosophy of Torsion Control Design, a concept whereby edge grip and ductility should not be mutually exclusive. Starting from this notion, two technological solutions have been developed to create skis that start and pass through the forebody, without sacrificing the ability to drift and free the backend.
The first of the two technological solutions is Titanal Y-Beam. With strategically designed Titanal geometry, the Y-Beam tunes the torsional bending without compromising longitudinal flexibility. This offers the highest level of precision and stability in a wet and stable platform.
The second is instead the spectral braided carbon technology. A variable-angle carbon fiber laminate allows for independent adjustment of torsional and longitudinal stiffness. This structure keeps the skis lighter for conditions where power and damping are less important.
