Ski-Test 2017/18: New Redster range, a gold medal for Atomic!

New structures and new graphics in the Atomic home, the substance does not change: search for performance in every model. At our Pampeago track test we tested four models, the new Atomic Redster S9 and Atomic Redster G9, the allround Atomic TR proposal and the top of the Atomic Cloud 12 female range. Here are the details of the results!

Last year we were impressed and this year is even better, the Atomic Redster TR is judged by all of our testers as the best skiing all-round for the 2017/18 season. Skiing manages to easily combine aspects of difficult mediation : excellence in maneuverability, stability, intuition and tightness, with a point of reference for the category. The new Atomic Redster TR excels in all curved bows, never yielding, regardless of the snow cover. On compact snow stays stable in the direction of curve and on softer snow does not sink. The racecarver range has been revolutionized for next season (we have talked about this in ISPO Munich 2017), the skis adopt a new construction called Servotech and based on a sandwich construction. In the GS racecarver we find the Atomic Redster G9, a skis that is docile and pleasing, stable and intuitive. To be a giant has impressed in its multifaceted and non-sectoral attitude, it is very easy to set up in curve and excellent in the middle arch. The racecarver SL is the 'Atomic Redster S9, which resumes the constructive features of the brother from GS and the same impressions: simple in handling the entire curve, not too aggressive, easy to set, thanks to the structure but light. In the women's field we find the Cloud range, with the bit of Cloud 12, which is confirmed by the most powerful ski of the allround feminine sensation. Atomic (in addition to being particularly aesthetically pleasing) is very stable and responsive, very present as a structure and directed to medium to large curves for demanding skiers who are not scared by the soundness of the construction.
