For the 2021/2022 season Atomic presents the new and revolutionary Maverick and Maven all-mountain ski line, while in the backcountry world the Backland line is confirmed with some new features.

The new Maverick and Maven skis Developed through in-depth and rigorous tests in the United States, Canada, Austria and France, the Maverick skis (for men) and Maven skis (for women) are designed for use at 360 °, from the piste, to off-piste and even with bindings. and skins for climbing slopes. This new ski line integrates new technologies with existing ones, such as the Omatic Core construction and the versatile Flow Profile. The core of the Maverick Ti is made up of a combination of layers of Titanal and fiberglass, while the Maverick C and Maven feature a carbon fiber insert and the Titanal's presence is limited to the binding area. Atomic confirms also for these skis the shape of the HRZN ski tip to make the entry of the curve more intuitive in any track. The camber underfoot, on the other hand, aims to allow skiers and female skiers the opportunity to tackle the curves with a sporty attitude, both on and off the track. Finally, both skis are equipped with a poplar wood core capable of maintaining a low weight guaranteeing a reactive and high-performance oriented flex. Ski center widths available ranging from 86mm to 100mm for the Maverick and 86mm to 93mm for the Maven. Atomic is therefore ready to bring to the market skis that can be considered as a sort of "Swiss Army knife" ... a unique product capable of doing the right job in all situations: Maverick and Maven are designed to "engrave" groomed slopes such as to draw curves between trees and open spaces. The Backland line For those who love skiing in complete freedom and without ski lifts, Atomic offers the Backcountry range divided into three main categories: Endurance, Adventure and Free-Touring. The Atomic Endurance category, made up of Backland UL skis, is aimed at skiers who are dedicated above all to speed uphill and long traverses and is also graphically reconfirmed in the widths of 65 mm, 78 mm and 85 mm. The Backland Adventure range, dedicated to ski mountaineering, is perfect for skiers who want to navigate the mountains in the round, from the ascent to the fresh snow. The Backland SL range is dedicated to those who prefer Freeride Touring. The skis are characterized by a greater width (from 80 mm under the foot upwards) to offer adequate performance in case of deep snow, while maintaining a low weight to be used uphill. The new entry in the Backland family for the 2021/2022 season is the Backland 80PT, born on the need arisen last season in which it was not possible to use the ski lifts and many skiers have looked for a light product with which to climb the slopes. slopes and with a good performance in the descent on the track.
