An alternative evening inside an industrial area in the suburbs of Garmisch hosts the K2 presentation of the news for the 2020/21 season. The new "disruption" collection that brings together both ski and All Mountain K2 skis marks a breaking point with the past by combining intergalactic technologies that recall the 50 years since landing on the moon to the philosophy that has always distinguished K2: "skiing for having fun and not to win a race ".

For loyal K2 skiers more inclined to wait for a day of freeride than to ski on the track, the new K2 DISRUPTION line is designed to have maximum fun on the track, at maximum speed, describing the so-called "nasty turns". Warmer says so Nickerson, a former American Giant national who collaborated in the development of the collection and whom we interviewed in the opening video.
The second day of the event organized by K2 in Garmisch is dedicated to the test on the track, where we can discover the new ski range:
DISRUPTION MTi With main beam 18 are the skis for those who love speed and cannot help but appreciate the stability and damping of vibrations of the new materials used in the construction.
DISRUPTION STi With a main radius of 13.6, it is the model that will have to pick up the legacy of the Turbo Charger K2, one of the most successful K2 skis in Italy and which promises not to regret its predecessor.
DISRUPTION 78Ti The revolutionary material introduced by K2 with the Disruption series, the Dark Matter Damping coupled with a layer of Titanal make this All Mountain a machine to have fun in all conditions with interesting performances.
The MTi and SC Alliance models dedicated to women, always present for K2, a version of skis for Short Bows and an All Mountain with Carbon reinforcements instead of the Titanal were also presented.
The two days dedicated to K2 in Germany could not be missing, the K2 Disruption CUP, a race that is definitely "outside the box" (as the word "disruption" refers to). Even in the race fun and desire to party always in pole position.
