Salomon has always been one of the most active homes on the market, with great news every year. The product lines on which the French house will target for the 2017/18 season are a new high performance track bike, the new allmountain XTR line and a new packet for backcountry touring lovers.

In performance track, we find the new Salomon Xmax 130 race boot with two main features: a very precise last and a reactive flex. The latter is called "flex 130 race" to differentiate the nominal hardness from the rest of the range, being closer to the flex 140, making the hull very performative. The width of the plant is very precise without compromising comfort: 96mm.
The line at Salomon XTR is the new proposal in the allmountain track segment. They are designed for those skiers who spend 90% of their time on the track, but on all types of snow and not just the trails of the morning. The novelty is given by the constructional structure, made of wood with two fibers: carbon and linen . This mix is ​​essential to provide lightweight, resilient and elastic skiing response thanks to the particular weave of the fibers.
In Backcountry Touring, Salomon thinks about who divides his time exactly halfway between uphill and downhill, offering very lightweight solutions, while at the same time making pleasant moves downhill. The focal point of the new X-Alps collection is the new boot with an innovative leg: it also allows an inclination inclination, both outward and inward, allowing easy traverse even in a very sloping situation, giving high grip to the skins. The boot It fits perfectly with the new range of X-Alps skis: these skis receive structural novelty thanks to the combination of carbon and linen inside the construction. The weight of the skis is only 980gr, combined with the 1190gr of the boot make the package interesting for those who want not only to climb (so have lightweight materials) but also have the best downhill control.
