Today we continue our journey to the discovery of the technical material production: after discovering how it is made a ski binding, we have to find out how to realize a ski plate. Here's the video!

Where we could go if not in the heart of the company that was among the first to bring this innovation? Obviously we refer to Vist, and in particular to Vist Tech, leader in plates since its founding.
The first plate was produced in 1997 by Roberto Vivian projects and Elmar Stimpfl (still head of the company), and already the following year a rotten plate Vist was awarded gold at the Nagano Olympics thanks to the downhill skier Katja Seizinger .
In our video you will see not only a brief historical overview on the production of Vist plates but also the manner of realization of plates of plastic and metal, with forgiartura and turning systems numerico.Le control plates that come from the plant in Mussolente not they are linked to the Vist brand but also dedicated to athletes of the ski and snowboard World Cup.
