The Chinese would like to buy 100% of Amer's capital with a cash offer subject to a number of conditions, including the support of Amer's board of directors. The indicated price of 40 euros per share leads to an overall assessment of the Amer company of 4.7 billion euros. The market capitalization of Amer Sports was 3.34 billion euros before this news began to spread in financial circles. In the first half, closed at the end of June, the group recorded a turnover of 1.107 billion euros, compared to 1.16 billion a year earlier.
For the time being, the leaders of the Finnish group stress that "no discussion has started and that a similar agreement would require the validation of shareholders and the adoption of various regulatory measures".
