SMITH presents the new "Survey" helmet with integrated visor for winter 2021/22

For the winter of 2021/22 Smith will offer on the market a new Survey helmet with a lightweight Koroyd® structure, MIPS® protection and integrated ChromaPop ™ visor, suitable for all skiers and snowboarders.

The thriving sector of helmets with integrated visors is enriched by a SMITH proposal, strengthened by the lightness of the InMold structure which combines, in a unique design, the outer shell and EPS foam, with the interior in Koroyd®, a very light material composed from double heat-sealed tubes that deform uniformly following an impact, to provide impact protection, high durability with also excellent ventilation. The addition of the MIPS® Brain Protection System also reduces the rotational forces transmitted to the brain by impacts.The integrated visor modifies and simplifies the normal use of the mask, offers a wide field of vision thanks to the ChromaPop ™ lens technology, enhancing sharpness, enhancing the contrasts, the colors in a variety of different conditions. The visor is also designed to be used with prescription glasses (over the glass OTG). Replacement visor lenses, including the clear lens for night skiing, are sold separately. Other features of the Survey helmet include the dial fit system that guarantees a perfect fit, allowing you to adjust the fit of the helmet while wearing it, as well as the AirEvac ™ ventilation system with its 14 adjustable ventilation holes to modulate airflow, and removable Snapfit SL2 earmuffs compatible with audio chips (sold separately). For young riders, the Survey Jr. helmet emulates the adult version offering the same level of impact protection with MIPS® and Koroyd® zoned, while giving distortion-free vision thanks to the integrated visor. The Survey Jr. also features our Grow With Me ™ two-stage liner system, which, accommodating the growth of the child, offers the possibility of adapting to larger sizes in a single size.
