It's called HF, an acronym for Hands Free, Nordica's bet on ski boots dedicated to a tourist audience, with an eye in particular to those who have given up skiing or are thinking of doing it because of the excessive difficulties encountered in the closure of the boots.

A product aimed primarily at a limited audience of people of advanced age who cannot easily close and open their boots but who still want to have a say on the track. Nordica offers a high-tech product, made with differentiated stiffness plastics, made with the high-tech multi-injection process, with the primaloft and cork shoe, the adjustment of the heel height, the heating controlled by means of a '' mobile app, the gripwalk and all the best of technology.
We interviewed the product manager Alberto Contento at the Nordica headquarters in Giavera del Montello, who illustrated the project objectives and product strengths compared to the rear-mounted products of the past. Beyond the stated target, that of those who have difficulty closing their boots, the product could appeal to a much wider audience. The tendency to "have an easy life" is certainly not the prerogative of a small slice of the market, the success of products such as pedal-assisted bicycles proves it more and more, a time of interest only for very particular categories of users and today in the wish list of most cyclists.
The version of the boot that we tested dry visible in the video is a Flex 110 boot, which can be used with satisfaction by a large part of the skiers who populate the slopes of our ski areas. Nordica HF is available these days in a limited number of stores of the Trevigiano brand, it will be distributed in all stores in Italy and abroad for the 2020/2021 winter season.
