Head Boots: Restyling Raptor and Vector Evo lines for 2017-2018

With Camilla Alfieri, a former Alpine Ski World Cup athlete, we discover the new range of Head boots for next season presented at ISPO 2017.

The new range mainly provides some continuity with regard to the hull and therefore the shapes of the boot. Mainly a restyling of the Raptor line of the Austrian brand horse was made, both for the 140 and 120, 90 and 80, and also for the Vector Evo line that sees the introduction of a new color variation with regard to The 120th and 100th Challenger line remains unchanged, the Advantage line, dedicated to a crowd of beginners and people who are approaching skiing for the first time, so the range extends to more flexes Soft, that is 80 and 75. Freeride and free skiing is also unchanged with Hammer 110 and the Thrasher line dedicated to a public who loves park and pipe or freeride experience. As for the Protection line, the new lineup for the coming season is the TVT technology, namely Trans Vision Tecnology, which consists in the creation of two different lenses, one in red and one in green, which have the ability to increase the contrast , In particular the green one under very intense and red light conditions in more variable, and therefore mostly cloudy weather conditions. The feature of these lenses is that the mirror is normally made over the lens while in this case is made inside making it even scratch-resistant. The choice between red and green is very subjective because of course there are those who need to see well with plenty of light or those who have the same need in the bad weather conditions. It has already been used by Heads World Cup athletes, especially from Norwegian Kjetil Jansrud, to have a constant visibility situation even in difficult conditions for those who wander.
