PROMACHINE Nordica complete the skiboot set of the Italian Brand

Nordica started a complete overhaul of the collection three years ago with the introduction of the Speedmachine shoe, followed last year by the introduction of the Sportmachine shoe and, to close the circle, this year the Promachine line, which is the more performing line, a very innovative shoe from the point of view of construction and technical characteristics. It's a light shoe, 98 mm so quite narrow and with a completely different fit from the other two models. In the Machine family all people can choose the perfect boot while maintaining high comfort and performance. The Promachine is the top of the range in this area, has a double-hulled hull, so the maximum of the construction from the technological point of view, and there is the inclusion of an extra-flan that allows entry and exit in an extremely easy for a shoe of this type. The shoe aesthetically has been deliberately constructed in a very anatomical way following the lines of the foot, this for two reasons: first, to increase lightness; second, to maintain exactly the shape of the foot and therefore also the transmissions of the forces correspond to the shape given to the boot, unload it where there is no need to have so much plastic and give more substance instead where the plastic transforms the energy towards the ski. The shoe has in itself the DNA of Dobermann, whose aficionados will know that the back is identical to the Grand Prix, the precursor of Dobermann. Promachine was built with the customization with infrared technology as regards the outer hull and also the customization of the shoe directly connected with the Speed & Sport line, ie with cork construction, 3D construction and the possibility of consolidating the customization in the oven. Another important feature is the evolution of the soles: a walkable sole has been inserted (Grip Walk) with a rockered profile, ie round, so that the walk is easier and safer. The first rubber sole was also inserted in a boot with fixed cuff thanks to the Michelin partner. This ensures a high performance sole derived directly from the asymmetrical design of a car tire used in the 24 hours of Le Mans with cuts and sculptures that exactly reflect the need for a high performance grip and above all the aesthetics more linked to the automotive world that to the mountain. The shoe is independent of the plastic hull: it is sold a shoe made in a traditional way with perceptible cork and with a conformation of the foot that follows perfectly the lines of the ossicles that often bother us avoiding pressure points. There is also a new material, the Isotherm, laser that is used at the end of sports competitions to keep the heat constant inside the shoe without making the foot sweat. A tongue adjustment system has also been introduced with a velcro placed on the front that can easily adapt the tongue perfectly according to the length of the calf and the sensitivity of the tibia. The slipper weighs 180 grams less than a normal in this category and also this was designed to maintain both comfort and performance very high. The Promachine line consists of four men's models, from 130 to 110, and four women's, from 115 to 85, with obviously the Grip Walk sole but the skier can also keep the traditional sole inserted inside the box.
