Stefania Constantini and Amos Mosaner reached a historic final for blue curling, demonstrating great maturity and quality in an Olympic mixed doubles tournament that went beyond all expectations. On Tuesday, with the first stone launched at 13.05 Italian (20.05 local time), the decisive act for the gold medal against Norway, already beaten in the round robin as the Italian couple won all ten matches disputed so far.
Today an overwhelming semifinal in which the Azzurri defeated Sweden with a score of 8-1 and, whether it be silver or gold, history is made for Stefania and Amos who agreed to speak to the Gazzetta dello Sport. “It's fantastic, now there is one last step to complete the work,” said Mosaner, who has proven to be in great shape so far.
On the other hand, the results obtained in this Olympic review are a demonstration of this and Stefania Constantini, like the teammate, expressed her joy, already noticed in the video call with the family during the post-match. “We have done something incredible. The final of the Olympics is a dream for every athlete ”. A dream that has come true, to prove once and for all that nothing is impossible in life.
