She was the queen of freestyle in “her” Olympic Games.
Eileen Gu brought another title to China, after gold and silver in the first two races held between slopestyle and big air, dominating the final of the women's halfpipe with 95.25 points, enough to beat her Canadian rivals.
Cassie Sharpe, 4.50 points away, and Rachael Karker, were forced to settle for the silver and bronze medals respectively, leaving Estonian Kelly Sildaru, the real disappointment of the day, by a whisker off the podium.
And for a true icon, also of style, like Eileen Gu, the title of woman of the Beijing 2022 Games is very close, even if the "competition" especially in the Norwegian home from the bottom to the biathlon, and we are talking about Therese Johaug and Mars Roeiseland, certainly not missing ...
