Two more finals for freestyle specialties, with Australia winning thanks to Jakara Anthony and New Zealand celebrating with Zoi Sadowski-Synnott. On Monday the men's slopestyle final with Emiliano Lauzi, very good in qualifying. And Italy, thanks to a waiver, adds Elisa Nakab to the team for the freeski competition on February 14th.

It was Oceania Day in Beijing 2022, with Australia and New Zealand celebrating two somewhat historic titles in moguls and slopestyle snowboarding. The women's final awarded Zoi Sadowski-Synnott, a very young New Zealander born in 2001 capable of an extraordinary test, with a score of 92.88 and almost 5 points of margin on the first pursuer, the American Julia Marino silver in front of the Australian Tess Coady. United States in second place also in the final of the humps, again as regards the girls: disappointed the great favorites, the French Laffont fourth and the Japanese Kawamura fifth, the silver went to Jaelin Kauf (80.28 pt) between the '' Australian Jakara Anthony, gold medal with a score of 83.09 points, and the Russian Anastasiia Smirnova, bronze at 77.72. However, it was also the Sunday of Emiliano Lauzi, very good in the qualifications of the men's slopestyle snowboard: the Milanese, now adopted by the Aosta Valley, won the pass for the final scheduled on Monday morning (at 5.00 Italian time), with a great seventh score, the result of the 71.70 points collected with a first run of great quality. First provisional position for the host, the Chinese Yimin Su with 86.80 points, followed by the Canadian Mark McMorris and the American Sean Fitzsimons, respectively with 83.30 and 78.76 points. And another good news arrives within the blue team, in this case as regards slopestyle freeskiing: Elisa Nakab becomes the 119th Italian athlete summoned to the Games since, thanks to a waiver, she will be able to participate in the next 14 competition.
