The Olympic jumping and Nordic combined calendar: 8 titles up for grabs, Kobayashi and Riiber the most anticipated

It starts on Saturday 5th with the women's competition, ending with team tests for both disciplines. For Italy, few chances for a medal.

At the Beijing 2022 Games there will be five titles up for grabs for the special jump, which will debut with the women's competition scheduled for Saturday 5 February, starting at 11.45 am Italian time (6.45 pm local time). The men's challenge on Normal Hill will begin on the same day with qualification, while the race will take place on Sunday 6 at 12.00. On Monday 7th the mixed team test, starting at 12.45, then the most awaited appointment with the men engaged on the Large Hill between Friday 11 (qualification) and Saturday 12 with the race, which will start at 12.00. Finally, on Monday 14 February, the men's team test, again from 12.00. Waiting for the women's Nordic combined, in its second World Cup season, to enter the Olympic program for Milan-Cortina 2026, there will be the classic three men's races in Beijing starting from the test with Normal Hill and gundersen, Wednesday 9 February from 9.00 (cross-country test at 12.00). Tuesday 15th, same times for jumping from Large Hill and gundersen, finally on Thursday 17th the team trial, again with jump at 9.00 and bottom at 12.00. The most anticipated men? Ryoyu Kobayashi for the jump and Jarl Magnus Riiber in the Nordic combined, with Norway and Germany protagonists across the board in both disciplines, while Italy will hardly be able to fight for the medal zone.
