First arrivals in China, to begin the great five-circle adventure.
The Beijing Olympic Games are already a reality for hundreds of athletes and among these, in Italy there is great attention around the protagonists of the ice. The speed skating team is definitely aiming high, thanks to a very good season with a reference point like Francesca Lollobrigida, able to compete for medals in several races: the Roman champion leads a team that, after the last meeting in Collalbo , has already landed a few hours ago in the "Olympic theater" for the specialists of this discipline, or the 'oval of the Ice Ribbon.
The focus is on Lollobrigida, of course, but in the team set up by Maurizio Marchetti and with two technicians such as Matteo Anesi and Enrico Fabris, attention also to Davide Ghiotto, Andrea Giovannini, Michele Malfatti, David Bosa, Jeffrey Rosanelli and Alessio Trentini.
Start of the races from Saturday 5th February, exactly as for the short track. And the champion par excellence of Italian history, Arianna Fontana, has already tasted the ice of Beijing, who presents herself to her fifth Olympics as reigning champion on 500 meters, with the possibility of reaching double numbers in an already legendary career.
