In the eyes of many cross-country skiing enthusiasts there will still be the image of the splendid duel between Klaebo and Bolshunov, staged in the world relay race in Oberstdorf 2021. In that case it was Norway that won; tomorrow, Sunday 13 February, at 8.30 am Italian time, the Olympic title of the men's 4x10 km relay will be assigned, with perhaps a new challenge between the two main stars of men's cross-country skiing.
Norway, in a hypothetical starting grid, will start as favorites for gold: the quartet composed in order of Emil Iversen, Paal Golberg, Hans Holund and Johannes Klaebo will want to confirm the gold won in that of Pyeonchang. Russia will not give up so easily, given the excellent form of the ace Alexander Bolshunov and the desire for revenge after Oberstdorf; Alexey Chervotkin will be deployed at the launch, unusual second fraction for Bolshunov, third fractionist will be the silver of the skiathlon Denis Spitsov, spriter Sergey Ustiugov will close. To defend the blue colors at the beginning there will be `` Chicco '' Pellegrino, eager to follow up on the splendid silver won in the sprint, the second fractionist will be Francesco De Fabiani, third fraction entrusted to Giandomenico Salvadori, in closing it will be Davide Graz, who he won the ballot with Maicol Rastelli and Paolo Ventura.
