The Olympic Games are starting and the biathlon will be one of the big events on Saturday, with the mixed relay to inaugurate the races at the Zhangjiakou site. At 10.00 Italian tomorrow (17.00 local time), Lisa Vittozzi, Dorothea Wierer, Thomas Bormolini and Lukas Hofer will be looking for what would be the third consecutive medal for the Azzurri in the format, an undertaking that is anything but simple considering also what we have seen in season. The choice, only partially surprisingly, made official today concerns the third fractionist, with Bormolini in place of Dominik Windisch, decisive for the bronzes won in the previous two editions of the Games. "I'm happy and happy to start, now the final touches but I can't wait - the words of the Livigno to physi.org - I'm proud of the choice made by the technicians, the season is going well and I'll try to do what I did until now. Everything is very complicated here, because there is cold, wind, slow snow. We will have to suffer ... ". THE FUND QUARTET Caterina Ganz, Anna Comarella, Cristina Pittin and Martina Di Centa will open the cross-country skiing program at the Beijing Games as regards Italy, with the women's quartet chosen for the skiathlon competition scheduled for Saturday, starting at 3.45 pm local (8.45 am in Italy).
