Bad fall on the back of Rina Yoshika during free slopestyle training in Beijing 2022. The Japanese snowboarder, transported to the hospital, reportedly suffered a spinal injury, fortunately it seems without permanent problems. The compactness of the ground, of artificial snow, would have accentuated the consequences of the impact. “It looks like bulletproof ice,” commented Jamie Anderson, two-time Olympic champion of the specialty.
