The final saw a quick start from Martina Valcepina but soon China took command of operations; the safety of the medal comes from a fall of Hungary and Canada while in the last fraction Pietro Sighel is not satisfied with the safe Silver and tries a comeback that is missing for a few centimeters. Gold for China, Silver for Italy and Bronze for Hungary.
Martina Valcepina, Arianna Fontana, Andrea Cassinelli and Pietro Sighel were able to manage the semifinal with Canada after the fall on the second round of the Dutch Suzanne Schulting who eliminates the Netherlands while on the other side of the board they are eliminated, disqualified United States and Russia advance Hungary and China.

The jury is also protagonist in the eighth heat where the blue Luca Spechenhauser pays the price.
