It will be the first ever Olympic medal test, on February 5th starting at 8.45 am Italian time (3.45 pm in China), and the race that will kick off the cross-country skiing calendar at the Beijing 2022 Games.
The women's skiathlon will inaugurate the five-circle event, followed on Sunday 6 (at 8.00) by the same format (with double distance) for men. The sprint on Tuesday 8 February will then come to life, which will begin at 9.00 with the qualifications and will experience the highlight with the final phase from 11.30, with women anticipating the men's sector, where Federico Pellegrino will go hunting for a '' another medal 4 years later and in his favorite technique, skating, although the net favorite remains the reigning Olympic champion Johannes Hoesflot Klaebo.
Another day of stop and here on February 10 the women's 10 km in classic, starting at 8.00, followed on 11 by the men's 15 km (always in classic and with the same times). Second weekend with the relays: Saturday 12, start at 8.30, the women's one, Sunday 13 the men's 4x10 from 8.00.
Wednesday 16 will be the day of the Team Sprint, with the four-year alternation that includes the classic technique: semifinals from 10.00, finals from 12.00 with women always before men.
Finally, the distances, with the men's 50 km in TL, Saturday 19 from 7.00, and the 30 km women at the end of the Games, as usual, with departure scheduled at 7.30.
