Pyeongchang 2018, record of medals for Rossignol athletes

There are 72 in all the medals won by Rossignol at the Pyeongchang Olympics 2018. A number that widely exceeds 60 won during the Olympic Games in Sochi collecting great results in all disciplines: alpine skiing, Nordic skiing, biathlon, freestyle and figure skating.

17 gold, 27 silver and 28 bronze medals is the final balance of the athletes sponsored by the brands Rossignol, Dynastar, Lange, Look and Risport. So almost a fifth of the medals won at the Pyeongchang Olympics have been won by champions using Rossignol Group equipment. Among the blues are Federica Brignone with the bronze medal in giant and Federico Pellegrino with the bronze won in the sprint race of Nordic skiing. In the biathlon there are even four Rossignol athletes to be on the third step of the podium: Lisa Vittozzi, Dorothea Wierer, Lukas Hofer and Dominik Windisch. This last bronze medal also in sprint. For the French team, of the 15 medals collected by the delegation, 1/3 was assigned to Rossignol athletes. Among these stands out Martin Fourcade who entered history becoming the most awarded French athlete at the Olympic Games with 7 medals in the neck: 5 golds (3 in Pyeongchang and 2 in Sochi) and 2 silvers. "We are extremely proud of the extraordinary results achieved by the athletes we support and we also wish to congratulate the technical teams who work behind the scenes every day to make them triumph" said Bruno Cercley, President of the Rossignol Group.
