3 Zinnen Dolomites, new “Helmissimo” gondola and other innovations for winter 2026/2027

The new lift, built by Leitner, will replace the existing one and will feature 97 spacious panoramic cabins, ensuring comfort, efficiency and performance. The gondola will improve access to Mount Elmo and make a decisive contribution to reducing waiting times, especially during periods of peak demand.

It will be able to transport up to 3,250 people per hour (compared with the previous lift’s 1,800 people per hour) at a speed of 6.5 m/s, and will take 7 minutes and 49 seconds to travel from the bottom station to the top station. The previous lift took just over 10 minutes.

Alongside the new gondola, the piste returning to the valley will be widened in several sections and repositioned under the name “Helmissimo”. The increased piste width will improve safety and skiing comfort for skiers of all levels.

The overall project also includes upgrading the snowmaking infrastructure on the piste returning to the valley and expanding the Punka building. Users will benefit from a level connection between the gondola’s arrival point and the access area, as well as a direct, covered passage from the ski storage and rental area to the lift.
