After two years Federico Maquignaz returns to the presidency of Cervino SpA

The Board of Directors of Cervino S.p.A., held on the morning of today 21 October, co-opted Federico Maquignaz as the new Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.

After the resignation of Herbert Tovagliari, Federico Maquignaz returns as president and CEO of the company on the eve of the crucial appointment of the Speed Opening of the Alpine Ski World Cup. Federico Maquignaz had already been president from 2011 to 2020. After his resignation in 2020, a brief interlude of another hotelier in the Breuil basin, Matteo Zanetti who had to manage the difficult period of the pandemic and the ugly story of the darkening of Webcam that had made the rounds of all the generalist newspapers. Herbert Tovagliari, an official of Finaosta, had been chosen to lead the company until the appointment of the new board of directors which was then confirmed in mid-2021 until today's board of directors. With a press release today, the Board of Directors thanks Herbert Tovagliari for the excellent work he has done and wishes Federico Maquignaz good work in view of the Alpine Skiing World Cup and the next winter season.
