As per tradition, Cervinia is the first ski resort on the Italian side of the Western Alps to inaugurate the winter season. A very long season, which lasts almost 7 months and will end on 1 May 2022. Artificial snow has started on the Italian side and, while waiting for the conditions to allow the installations of the Cervino Ski Paradise, which extends from the 2''050 meters of Cervinia to the 3''899 of the Gobba di Rollin, it will be possible to ski on the Plateau Rosa and on the Swiss side.

It starts on Saturday 16 October: a traditionally deeply felt event which, in consideration of the situation we are experiencing, will take on an even more particular meaning. There is a great desire for the mountains, for outdoor life in a unique natural environment and for snow sports. And precisely to allow ski enthusiasts to practice their favorite sport with serenity and safety, it is absolutely essential that the controls are rigorous and take place in full compliance with current regulations. Access will therefore take place upon presentation of a mandatory green pass and valid document, except for children under 12, and with a surgical mask or ffp2 worn correctly, covering the mouth and nose. The ski lifts of CERVINO S.P.A. will be active from 8:15, while the ticket office will have the following times: Monday to Friday 8: 00-16: 30, Saturday and Sunday 12: 00-16: 30.
A great novelty will be represented by the skipass, both daily and seasonal, which at the moment must be purchased preferably online: keycard holders will be able to load it directly from the site while those not equipped with this electronic support will have to collect it in "pick-up mode" at the automatic or authorized cash desks in Valtournenche and Cervinia.
The new sales method is aimed at avoiding the creation of rows and gatherings at the checkout counters.
The checks at the start of the plants will be carried out jointly by CERVINO S.P.A. and by the police. Skiers are invited to present documents in hand and with the Green pass, both paper and digital, ready for scanning, in order to speed up access and avoid any delays.

Argentera
Argentera si trova nell’alta Valle Stura, a pochi chilometri dal Colle della Maddalena e dal confine francese, in uno degli ambienti più appartati e selvaggi delle Alpi Marittime. Il comprensorio si sviluppa sopra la frazione di Bersezio, tra circa 1.630 e 2.500 metri di quota, in un paesaggio di lariceti e pendii d’alta montagna dominato dall’Oserot e dalla Rocca dei Tre Vescovi.
