Because of the low snowfall and unlikely forecasts for the next few days, the organizing committee has decided to cancel the 2019 edition of the MarciaGranParadiso.

At the same time, however, the Italian Championships, the Italian Cup, the Mini Marcia and the Vitalini Speed Contest have been confirmed.
Following the cancellation of the 25 kilometers skating on Friday, the white flag was also raised for the 25 kilometers and the 45 kilometers in the classic technique on Sunday. The Italian Absolute Championships have been confirmed with the sprint and the individual. On Friday 1st February there will be the qualifying and the final batteries of the sprint skating competition, while on Saturday 2 February, space will be given to the Individual in classical technique. Also confirmed all the events for the little ones on Saturday afternoon: Mini MarciaGranParadiso and Vitalini Speed Contest with the presence of Stefania Belmondo and Marco Albarello.
On Sunday 3 February there will be no Marcia, but a race will still be set up that will be valid for the Sportful Italian Cup and the Italian Rossignol Master and Citizens Cup. At the moment there is a test of at least 20 kilometers that will run on the ring of 5 kilometers already perfectly snow-covered for the World Cup. The organization, however, will continue to look at the sky and in case of copious rainfall will try to change the route and mileage, giving the agonists even more spectacular passages.
