Work has begun on the project to relaunch the Val di Scalve ski resort. The plan includes new ski lifts and a new snow-making system.

This summer the Colere station is closed to allow the works foreseen in the first part of the development project of the area. Silvio Rossi, director, owner and manager of the ski lifts of the Colere 2200 ski area, told Neveitalia about the program for the restyling of the station.
"Our company, RSI srl, has won a public tender for the construction and management of new ski systems and the snow-making system in Colere. The Carbonera-Polzone chairlift and the Polzone -Cimabianca chairlift will be replaced respectively by a 10-seater cable car and a new 6-seater chairlift with automatic coupling. In addition, a new snow-making system will be built with an enlarged pond ”explains Silvio Rossi.
"If all the permits arrive quickly, the Carbonera-Bolzone cable car and the snowmaking system will be ready for the next winter season. The Polzone-Cimabianca cable car would instead be ready for the winter of 2023/2024. For this year, the opening with homologation of the Italian black run is also planned "continues Silvio Rossi.
Not only skiing, but also other sports activities to be practiced in winter and summer: “In Colere we will continue to focus on freeride, snowboard cross and we will maintain the routes dedicated to ski mountaineering that reach an altitude of 2200 meters. Massimiliano Belingheri, originally from Colere, banker in world finance, has invested 30 million euros for the relaunch of the area.
