Friday, November 30 will open the facilities of the Faloria Cristallo district, one of the first in Italy to inaugurate the new winter season and one of the last to close. The closure is scheduled for early May. The goal is to make the Tondi track accessible to all ski enthusiasts.

Soon the opening of the Scoiattolo slope will be official, a very demanding track that will be the fifth black slope of the area after the Vitelli Alta, the Canalone Franchetti, the Stratondi and the Bigontina. Born to give the most experienced and daring unique emotions, the Scoiattolo track aims to become, with its incredible final wall, the star of the descents of Ampezzo.
Among the events of the beginning of the season, do not miss Fashion Week, December 7th and 8th, a fashion and luxury event that will animate the streets of the center and which will also find space on the Faloria with initiatives both at the start of the cableway and at altitude. In those days it will also be possible to see the training sessions of the Italian national snowboard team preparing for the World Cup stage that will be held right on the Tondi track on the weekend of 14 and 15 December. At the end of the race there will be a party at the Rifugio Faloria with live music by the Sticky Fingers, the Rolling Stones tribute band.
The Refuge will also be the arrival stage of the Corsa dei Santa Claus, a very easy run of just two or four kilometers to be held on December 27th.
