If you have not yet decided where to spend the New Year and you plan to celebrate it in the snow, here are some nice ideas for waiting for the new year in the Engadine.
New Year with Silvester Snownight and Street Food Festival in Corvatsch
On the evening of December 31, you can wait for midnight by skiing at night on Switzerland's longest lit runway. The plant will run the first ride at 7pm and the last run at 2am. Starting at 8 pm, the Murtèl intermediate station will host the Street Food Festival with stalls where you can taste all the international specialties. From 22.30 on the other hand the party will start at the Hossa Bar where it will be possible to taste assorted sweets and drinks in line with the specialties of the individual countries proposed at the Street Food Festival. There will also be games with prizes and entertainment with the music of the British-Swiss duo "Brüder Fërns".
The cost of the ticket for the ski lift, valid for the entire evening, is 39 Swiss francs for adults and 27 Swiss francs for children up to 12 years. The cost of the "early evening" ticket, valid from 7pm to 9pm, is 32 Swiss francs for adults and 24 Swiss francs for children up to 12 years.
New Year at the Diavolezza
On the Diavolezza we recommend the gala dinner at the end of the year at 3000 meters high with a show, a party with DJs and fireworks. The New Year's Eve dinner includes various delicacies including a buffet of appetizers, shrimp and courgette ravioli with saffron sauce, sliced beef, basil sorbet and various desserts such as chestnut cake and puff pastry accompanied by a plate of local cheeses.

The first ascent of the plant is at 6.30pm, the last descent at half past one in the night. To participate in the New Year's Eve dinner, a reservation is required.
