Black slope Hahnensee, a fairytale slope in the Upper Engadine. One of those descents that must be done at least once.

In the Corvatsch ski area, one of the most beautiful slopes in Engadine is called Hahnensee. The black track starts at an altitude of 2643 meters with wide open slopes and ends in a fairytale and snowy forest in St Moritz Bad, at an altitude of 1,772 meters. Nine kilometers long, with an altitude difference of 871 meters, it enjoys breathtaking views of the Upper Engadine lakes.
To reach the Hahnensee slope, you need to take the Giand’Alva chair lift (2497 meters high) after traveling the red track that starts from the Corvatsch mountain station (3,300 meters high):
At the bottom of the descent there is the Hahnensee-Express shuttle bus to welcome skiers. Thanks to the Hahnensee-Express, which is now included in the St. Moritz local bus route (line 1, 6, 9), it is also possible to take the bus at the stops of the St. Moritz railway station and the center of St. Moritz Dorf.
