If you are in the Upper Engadine, in the Diavolezza area, you cannot miss the descent on the Morteratsch glacier, passing at the foot of the majestic Piz Palü.
This is the longest descent in Switzerland, 10 km to go in about 45 minutes. The descent from the Pers and Morteratsch glacier is not smooth, but follows the language of the glacier until you reach the restaurant terrace located at the Rhaetian Railway station of the Morteratsch. The descent is marked in yellow on both sides of the track, but is unprepared.
It is classified as a red track, even if a stretch of about 300 meters is to be considered black. The descent is open from January to March depending on the snow conditions.

Argentera
Argentera si trova nell’alta Valle Stura, a pochi chilometri dal Colle della Maddalena e dal confine francese, in uno degli ambienti più appartati e selvaggi delle Alpi Marittime. Il comprensorio si sviluppa sopra la frazione di Bersezio, tra circa 1.630 e 2.500 metri di quota, in un paesaggio di lariceti e pendii d’alta montagna dominato dall’Oserot e dalla Rocca dei Tre Vescovi.
