Everything is propnto for the 2014 edition of Pizolada of the Dolomites, the historic ski mountaineering race which will also be the final of the Italian Cup circuit - Shoe Trophy, scheduled for Sunday, April 6, on the slopes of the Val di Fassa and Passo San Pellegrino.
Quest'' year the Organizing Committee has deisegnato a tough course, selective and spectacular, completely off-piste descents with breathtaking and the ascent of three peaks above 2500 m, including the legendary top Strait.
Agonists will face 5 5 climbs and descents, for a total of 13 Km and 1710 m difference in altitude, while the Junior category and for walkers there is a reduced variant with 3 climbs and descents for a total of 3 10 km and 1095 m of altitude. Two different but equally exciting challenges that viewers will follow at a close distance from the slopes of Passo San Pellegrino. The departure of both paths is fixed as always downstream of the cable car Col Margherita.
An absolute novelty is the sprint promotional individual male and female program at Passo San Pellegrino Saturday, April 5th starting at 17. Under starters are expected to numerous VIPs and official spokesperson of the companies sponsoring the event. It is a special appointment to meet with the leading figures of ski mountaineering.

Campitello Matese, sciare in Molise a due ore da Roma
