The United States dominates the snowboard at the Swatch Freeride World Tour 2014 by The North Face

Sammy Luebke gives an encore in the Swatch Freeride World Tour 2014 by The North Face. After winning the opening stage of Courmayeur, the U.S. snowboarder was repeated in the third round of Fieberbrunn, Austria, with 81.25 points ahead of compatriot Ralph Backstrom (80) and the Swiss Emilien Badoux (76.25).

In skiing, victory of the world for the New Zealander Sam Smoothy (86.5 points), which puts an end to the streak of Frenchman Loic Collomb-Patton, King of Mont Blanc with two seals in Courmayeur and Chamonix. On the podium also rising Argentine Nicolas Salencon (80.75) and the Swiss Richard Amacker (79.75). Second consecutive victory for the American Shannan Yates, who consolidates the top of the overall standings for the women's snowboards, thanks to a run by 73.75 points, enough to beat the Swiss Estelle Balet (69.75) and Australia's Amber Schuecker (66.75). The great feast of the home crowd, however, was all in the women's ski that has seen the emergence of'' darling Nadine Wallner, awarded by the judges for its line with an excellent 87.25. The house party was completed by Austria in third place by Lorraine Huber (75.75), just behind the U.S. Francesca Pavillard-Cain (76.25). The next stop on the world tour is scheduled for March 1 in Kirkwood, United States.
