Arosa - Lenzerheide with the connection arise the biggest ski resort of Graubunden

But the link between Arosa and Lenzerheide is much more than just a project of the two Resorts. The range of winter sports will reach 220 kilometers of slopes. This opens the possibility to choose between various and long descents of the most varying degrees of difficulty and various types of terrain.

The unification of the two areas for winter sports will enhance the competitiveness of both destinations in a Ski Restort market, where competition is strong, improving permanently the public economy and securing jobs in the long term . Thanks to an agreement with the lifts of Arosa and Lenzerheide Tschiertschen will be included in the offer of the destination, offering guests more opportunities.

The decision whether to give the green light to work was troubled, passing two referendums, as used in Switzerland, and the approval of a plan that provides for the connection in the development of alternative mobility between the two valleys.  The resorts of Lenzerheide and Arosa will be joined together by a newly installed 6-seater chair lift from the Mottahut on the Lenzerheide side bringing guests up to the cable car station. The cable car will then cover the 2km distance between the two resorts from Urdenfuerggli in Lenzerheide to Hoernli in Arosa.
