We are pleased to publish a letter from Carosello 3000 written with the heart to all mountain enthusiasts in this moment of difficulty that our country is going through.

In order to contain the spread of Coronavirus, the Italian authorities have taken drastic measures which have decreed the closure of all the ski resorts. In full sharing of this decision, Carosello 3000 - ski area of Livigno (Lombardy) which stands out for its support to the freeride movement - wanted to send a message of encouragement to all mountain lovers starting from a video that was to be launched as I invite you to reach the resort after a heavy snowfall.
"We would have liked to publish this video to tell you to take skis, wide ones, get in the car with friends and head towards Livigno, at the northern end of the Italian Alps. Just in these days an abundant snowfall has colored the peaks of a pure and immaculate white, as we have not seen for some time. Unfortunately, the situation in which our region is located (we are in Lombardy) does not allow us to invite you here to enjoy of this natural spectacle and draw with us soft lines on fresh snow. We then use these images shot on Monte Garone (with descent into Valle del Monte) and on Corno di Capra (Valle delle Mine) to send a message of encouragement that comes from the heart of our Mountain. Nature is strong, we know it. In front of her we feel fragile, often powerless, certainly always entranced. For a few moments, particular places or natural events are even capable of frightening us. But it is nature itself that finally embraces us, fills us with joy and gives us immense strength and determination. In this closing period, we will not stop planning new adventures and new experiences to live with you when everything is back to normal. Do the same. Draw on a sheet of paper, draw lines on the maps, dream of your next outdoor adventure. And if allowed, continue to explore with respect for common sense and all the indications of the authorities of your country. Together with the whole community of Livigno, we take this opportunity to thank you for the hundreds of messages of support and love you have for us. sent from every corner of the planet. For our part, we wish all those who love the outdoors, the mountains and Livigno a lot of luck. We are convinced that as soon as possible we will return to embrace each other and celebrate our free time outdoors. Thanks to your support, we will be stronger than before and even more aware of experiencing sport and the outdoors respecting the nature that surrounds us and that makes us women and men free. "
