On the occasion of the presentation of the two million euro planetarium that will broaden the offer of the Science Museum of Trento, the governor of Trentino-Alto Adige Ugo Rossi pushes for the cableway connecting Trento and Monte Bondone.

"It is a programmatic idea since we are at the end of the legislature but I am convinced that the link with Monte Bondone is an investment necessary for a greater quality of the tourism offer of Trentino which can benefit the city, but also the whole auction of the Adige. If I'm re-elected, I'll definitely put it in my political program - says Rossi in a long interview with giornaletrentino.it -. I think we should consider the value of this link also from a conceptual point of view. If we start from the numbers concerning the Muse, with over 3 million visitors and only offers a part of them the opportunity to touch an extraordinary natural environment, after seeing it at the Museum, it is an added value that qualifies the tourist offer and increases the potential number of tourists.
"It is clear that this is an investment that also requires the participation of individuals, to redevelop the commercial offer of the mountain of Trento, understood as catering and animation, in short, as a promotion of Trentino products - continues Rossi -. The Province will have to play its part, but private individuals must be encouraged to participate in a work that raises the mountain of Trento not only as a ski resort, but as a unique natural environment ". Speaking of the revival of the Panorama Hotel in Sardagna, a fraction of Trento where the current cableway arrives at about 600 meters above sea level, Rossi explains: "We need to think about a lean redevelopment, without setting ourselves on a hotel, with the risk not to find private investments. My idea is that of a medium-high quality restaurant. I would see well a showcase for Trento Doc, taking advantage of such a panoramic position. You could propose to families who visit the Muse, for a meal with the view of Trento from above, arriving by cable car.
