Fabulous landscapes, organization of the highest level, altitude range ranging from the 3000 meters of the Indren glacier to 1191 m. of the inhabited area of Alagna and that allow in all seasons to find the snow in excellent conditions. We add the charm of the real mountain at the foot of the legendary Monterosa 4000, with the town center where the Walser houses create a unique atmosphere of extraordinary beauty. If we combine all this with more than two meters of fresh snow that fell during the last week, NeveItalia could not but choose Alagna as the base location for the Freeride 2019/2020 test.

But the choice to go to Alagna is not just an opportunity to take advantage of the exceptional snowfall of this early April. The Valsesia station has for years now been a real mecca for Freeride enthusiasts from all over the world, connected with Valle di Gressoney and the Val d''Ayas offers a series of excursions in fresh snow that have few equals in terms of variety and accessibility. Among the reasons for the success of Alagna, however, there are also the organization that the managers have shown in recent years, the availability of high-level facilities, the presence of mountain guides and masters with a great passion for the mountains and for the welcome to guests.
THE FREERIDE DI NEVEITALIA TESTOur freeride test will be held in the week between 8 and 14 April. We know that the first question of all our readers is to know a preview of which skis will be awarded with the "SCELTO DAI TESTER" logo for the 2019/2020 season. All the brands we have invited participate in this year's contest, here are some names: Atomic, Armada, Black Crows, Blizzard, Dynastar, DPS, Head, Elan, Faction, Fischer, K2, Nordica, Rossignol, Salomon, Völkl. For the results we will have to wait a few more weeks. The NeveItalia Freeride Test in Alagna will benefit from the experience of the Cristian Gobbi guide and the logistic support of the Monterosa2000 plant company. We also thank Stefano Casalino of Alagna Monterosa Ski Akademy for the support given to the entire NeveItalia test.
